Unwrapped: OiOi’s Insulated Bags

When it comes to blending style with practicality, OiOi has always been a staple for mums on the go. Now they have expanded their range to include insulated lunch bags, available in three sizes and a selection of gorgeous prints. These bags are the perfect accessory for your next picnic, kids school lunch or even to take to work. Let’s dive in and have a look.

About the range

Founded over 25 years ago, OiOi is run by mother-and-daughter duo Lisa & Isabella. Known for their super practical and stylish range of premium nappy bags, they have been a must-have accessory for mums for decades. Now, OiOi have released a gorgeous range of lunch bags - perfect for mums, kids, teens and families on the go.

Looks meet functionality

One of the first things that draws you to OiOi’s insulated bags is the design. The signature OiOi prints are vibrant, modern, and playful. From the soft ‘Blue Check’ to the vibrant ‘Sunburst’ pattern, or the very on-trend ‘Tropical’ design, you’ll be sure to find a design that you love.

The bags come in three sizes - the mini, midi and maxi. Here’s what we thought about the sizes:

  • The mini - as the name suggests this is the smallest size. It’s perfect for a school or work lunch and easily accommodates a bento box. It’s just the right size to pop into your bag.

  • The midi - if you want to keep your lunch and drink bottle cold and conveniently all in one bag, this is the bag for you. It passed the Frank Green test too - we had a lunch box and 1 litre bottle comfortably included. Alternatively, use it to pack multiple luck boxes, or to conveniently store and carry your breast pump if you are out for the day.

  • The maxi - the biggest in the range, this bag is perfect for a family day out. It includes a removable divider, extra pockets and plenty of space for lunch, snacks and drinks for the day. It can also double as a breast pump bag.

The bags are made from durable and water-resistant RPET fabric, ensuring that they can handle the demands of daily life, from spills and rain to the occasional rough handling. The insulated lining, also crafted from durable RPET, keeps your food and drinks at the perfect temperature, ensuring they stay fresh for hours.

All the little extras

All bags include a mesh pocket for your ice pack, allowing you to keep everything organised and cool. The midi and maxi bags also include an adjustable cross-body strap to keep your hands free, and outside pockets for easy access to important essentials (like car keys!).

The bags feature chunky YKK zips that are durable and easy to operate, even for little fingers. This small but important detail makes the bags accessible for everyone in the family.

The three bags all fit in each other for easy storage, so buy one or buy the set. They would also make a great gift.

OiOi’s insulated bags are a must-have for anyone who values both style and practicality. They offer a perfect blend of chic design and versatility, making them an essential accessory for parents and anyone who appreciates a high quality cooler bag. Whether you’re packing a lunch, storing snacks, or keeping milk cool, these bags have you covered.

About Oi Oi

The story of OiOi began in 1997 when Lisa, then a fashion buyer on maternity leave, faced a dilemma that many stylish parents still encounter today. While pregnant with her first, she was advised to get a nappy bag, but the options available were far from fashionable. Instead, she chose to use her “little black handbag,” which, though stylish, didn’t provide the practicality needed for organising baby essentials. Recognising this gap, Lisa decided to design her own nappy bag, blending functionality with fashion, and thus, OiOi was born. Now, with her daughter, Isabella by her side, the brand continues to deliver products that are both functional and fashionable, like their stunning insulated bags.
